In 2024, SS4BC visited the UN's Green Climate Fund headquarters in Songdo, Incheon, South Korea. The experience of meeting and talking to people working so hard to make help solve the climate crisis inspired us to collaborate with them further. 

Later that year, SS4BC students in grade 5 and 6 completed group projects as part of a GCF proposal pitch contest. The teams collaborated with coaches at the GCF and demonstrated an excellent understanding of the problems facing the world, and the possibilities to make a difference through mitigation and adaptation projects. This was an example of small steps becoming bigger and visions of change becoming real.
