Earth Day Community Cleanup

SS4BC visited a community garden and met with Mr. Mark Smith to learn about the recent history of development in the area and the different indigenous and invasive species of plants and animals that are shaping the ecosystem.  SS4BC members worked hard (while having some fun) to cleanup the garden and surrounding park of trash and items that could be recycled. We got back to school feeling like we had made a difference and learned about our community.
